MSI Netbook Review

Review of MSI Netbook CR650

Before, we thought the new E350 will be available only for AMD netbook, but it seems not quite true. MSI CR650 has a 15 inch display and uses the processor up and costs less than $ 500. So it’s worth the price?

The body of the laptop is stylish enough for a budget laptop. CR650 MSI boasts a glossy black cover is speckled with metallic sparkles.Weighing modest 5.4 pounds, has amazing build quality. Keyboard is the typical island style, more popularly known as Soft keyboard. The keys to providing an amazing feedback and appreciate the integration of the numeric keypad. TouchPad, which is under the keyboard is a bit small for a notebook of this size, but it worked like a charm. The mouse buttons felt a bit cheesy to us, and we prefer separate keys at any time during this unique bar.

The 15.6-inch screen offers industry-standard 1366 x 768 pixels. Although the screen seems clear, we do not aspire to a better screen resolution. However, we were pleased to see that the colors do not fade more when you view the screen from the side which is great if you watch a YouTube video or a movie with a friend sitting beside her. The CR650 comes with the new E350 AMD Fusion, which has a disappointing test score of 2377 in PCMark Vantage. That’s half what you would have been from a laptop running on an i5 or Core i7. The same can be said for its ATI Radeon HD 6310 GPU which scored 2370 in 3DMark06 test. Due to the low CPU, MSI CR650 was able to deliver a stellar battery autonomy from the notebooks of similar size. He was able to last five hours on a single charge.
